About Quilters Needle

Helen opened her first fabric shop in 1987 in Bunbury and this soon turned into one of the first craft shops in the area selling patchwork fabric and crafty things.

After 10 years she sold the shop (‘Crafty Things Country Style’) and pursued other interests.

But…You just can’t keep a good woman away from the machine and here she is doing what she knows best.

Quilting, buying and selling fabric and having a lot of fun along the way.

The Quilter's Needle began life in a Gazebo in the front garden!

However, with the purchase of a longarm quilting machine and the beginnings of a fabric collection we soon realised we were outgrowing that space and needed to commandeer a room in the house… as well as the dining room… and the other spare room.

We needed more space and at the beginning of 2006 we shifted into our new premises and at last had room to move. Of course our stock levels have grown to fill the new space with more arriving every day.
